After Cami posted this link here yesterday, I practised all evening long on Marisol to make her a nice french braid. And tada...

Thank you for your help, Cami!

I'm not Cami, but I think Marisol looks GREAT! Now imagine the fun you can have...with your dollies's hair AND your daughter's!

Hi Erin!
DD had french braids last week, made by a hairstylist, when she participiated in the local synch-show. Ever since, she was begging, that I have to learn it, too. Ok, I'm a well raised mom and started training - without success, until Cami posted that link with directions...

Sonja,
Another thing to remember about French braiding is that practice makes perfect. I remember when I first started doing my daughter's hair I was so inept at the whole process. I did continue and over time I was able to braid her hair quite nicely.

I did that the entire evening yesterday - it's actually fun to practice on the dollies. I also put Molly's hair in french pigtails and braided in different directions etc.
DH was pretty amused, to say the least...

This is the link to the directions...

I'm really happy about this - I wanted to learn this all my life, but never found good directions to follow until yesterday. After half an hour of intensive practice, I made the first one. Once you know the how abouts, it's not that difficult anymore...
